SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Johnson Outdoors Clean Earth Challenge at the 2023 Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic Expo Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins at 11 AM Central Time (“CT”) on March 24, 2023, and ends at 4 PM CT on March 26, 2023 (“Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeping device for the sweepstakes.
SPONSOR: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Johnson Outdoors Inc., located at 555 Main Street, Racine, WI, 53403 (“Sponsor”).
AGREEMENT TO THE OFFICIAL RULES: By participating in the Sweepstakes, all entrants fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning the prizes (described below) is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
ELIGIBILITY. The Sweepstakes is open only to the 2023 Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic Expo in-person attendees who, at the time of entry, are 18 years or older and legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia. Employees, directors and officers and their immediate families (husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, parents and children and their spouses) and household members (whether or not related) of Sponsor, and each of its parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, and companies involved in the implementation and execution of the Sweepstakes or otherwise associated with the Sweepstakes (collectively the “Sweepstakes Entities”) are not eligible.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Sweepstakes, participants must complete the entry form and sign-up for the Clean Earth Challenge at the Johnson Outdoors booth at the 2023 Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic Expo.
All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. No entries will be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, mutilated, late or misdirected entries. Limit is one (1) entry per person.
Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are incomplete or inaccurate whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries. Sponsor is not responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures or delays in computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. All entry information becomes the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
PRIZES AND THE VALUE OF THE PRIZES.
One (1) First Prize: One (1) Old Town Sportsman Big Water PDL 132. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of First Prize is $3,249.99.
One (1) Second Prize: One (1) Humminbird HELIX 9 MEGA SI GPS. ARV of Second Prize is $1599.99.
One (1) Third Prize: One (1) Minn Kota AFTCO Reaper Sweatshirt and One (1) Hat. ARV of Third Prize is $93.95.
The approximate retail value of all prizes is $4,943.93. Any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value, if any, will not be awarded.
GENERAL PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. Prizes are subject to availability and are subject to change. Prizes may not be transferred, assigned, changed or redeemed for cash, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize in whole or in part with other prizes of comparable or greater value if the intended prize is not available for any reason as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. The winner of any prize valued over $599.99 will be required to provide their Social Security numbers and appropriate tax documentation for tax reporting purposes. Sponsor will file where required an IRS Form 1099 with the Internal Revenue Service for the fair market value of any prize.
TIMING OF DRAWINGS AND NOTIFICATION TO WINNERS. The potential winners of a prizes will be selected through a random drawing on or about March 26, 2023. The winners will be notified by Sponsor by e-mail using the address provided in the entry form. If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to confirm his or her eligibility and shipping address within two (2) days of notification, an alternate winner may be selected by Sponsor from all remaining eligible entries in a second-chance drawing. Selection of winners will be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions are final.
PRIZES ARE AWARDED “AS IS” WITH NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SPONSOR DISCLAIMS ALL AND ANY LIABILITY FOR THE ACTUAL PROVISION, QUALITY OR NATURE OF ANY THIRD-PARTY PRODUCT OR SERVICE ACCEPTED BY THE WINNER.
ODDS OF WINNING. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received from all entry methods.
GENERAL CONDITIONS AND RELEASE. By participating, (a) each entrant agrees to release the Sweepstakes Entities, and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, representatives and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Sweepstakes, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives from any and all liability for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by their participation in this Sweepstakes, including the unauthorized or illegal access to personally identifiable or sensitive information or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize except where prohibited by law; (b) with the exception of entrants who are residents of Tennessee, each entrant consents to the use by Sponsor and each of their respective designees of the winner’s name, hometown, photograph, voice, or other likenesses and prize information for promotion, advertising and marketing purposes in any media now known or hereafter devised, throughout the world, in perpetuity, without additional compensation or consideration, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law, and upon request will provide written confirmation of such consent; and (c) each entrant acknowledges that none of the Sweepstakes Entities or anyone else has either made, or is in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize including, but not limited to, its quality or availability. Neither any of the Sweepstakes Entities nor any service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human or other error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data or voice transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or website or to complete a telephone call or facsimile transaction, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost or misdirected mail, or any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE, TAMPER WITH THE ENTRY PROCESS, OR OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE CONTENT OR LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR WILL DISQUALIFY ANY SUCH ENTRANT, AND SPONSOR AND THE APPLICABLE ENTITIES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT OR INDIVIDUAL(S) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
No failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall constitute a waiver of that provision. If for any reason the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof) is not capable of being executed as planned, or in the case of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, action of entrants, technical failures or any other causes that in the opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof), Sponsor reserves the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any suspect entry or entrant and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof). Entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION. Except where prohibited, by participating Sweepstakes entrants agree that: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant(s) and Sponsor and its agents shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law of any jurisdiction. Entrant agrees that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes, or awarding of the prizes, shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and entrant hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action. Except where prohibited, by participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or awarding of the prizes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.

WINNERS’ LIST. For a list of winners’ names, available after the close of the Sweepstakes Period, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to Johnson Outdoors Clean Earth Challenge Winner List, 555 Main Street, Racine, WI, 53403. Requests must be received no later than May 26, 2023.
